These terms & conditions act as our returns policy & customer care cover which applies to any orders for products placed via this website & telephone mail-order sales.

We retain the right to amend any of the below at anytime and without notice.

How a contract for the sale of products can be formed

After placing an order you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order; this does not mean that your order has been accepted, all orders are subject to acceptance by us. The contract between us will only be accepted once we send you a dispatch confirmation.
The contract will relate only to those products that have been dispatched.

Product Ordering

When you order any of our products, you confirm that you are purchasing the products and that you will pay for these products in full.

Descriptions & Condition of products

All products are brand new & boxed with a full warranty as delivered by the manufacturer / importer / distributor unless stated otherwise within the products description.

Product descriptions can change at any given time, please check that the description meets your needs before making a purchase. (E&OE)

Delivery

Products being delivered within the United Kingdom mainland are usually dispatched on a free next working day delivery, excluding offshore United Kingdom locations, Scottish Highlands, Europe and the rest of the World. These locations will be subject to extra postage and the buyer must ask for addition postage charges for these locations if not stated at the point of checkout.

Once the purchase has been accepted you will be supplied with a Tracking Number.

If the products are lost, miss-delivered or damaged in transit, please inform us within 2 working days or 7 working days if your delivery location is outside the U.K.

This will allow us to make a claim with our courier and supply you with a replacement order or refund you in full.

Once the products have been delivered they are your responsibility and are then at your risk.

Online & Mailorder Returns

If your product is faulty

Don’t worry. If your product develops a confirmed fault within 28 days of purchase we’ll always offer you the choice of an exchange or full refund.
If no fault is found then we reserve the right to charge a testing fee & charge for return carriage back to you.

Most products come with at least a one year guarantee, so if your product develops a fault during the remaining guarantee period we’ll help you to get a prompt resolution.
Please note that this will vary by product type.

If you change your mind

Sometimes it is hard to tell whether something will fit in your home until you get it there, and we don’t want you to be stuck with something unsuitable.
If you are contracting as a consumer and not buying products for a business and or organisation purposes the following rights will apply:

For unopened and factory sealed products:
You can return your product in its original unopened & sealed packaging within 14 days of purchase and we’ll give you the choice of an exchange or full refund, no questions asked.

For opened and/or used products:
You can return your product within 14 days however your item may be subject to a restock fee of 15%.
Items returned damaged will not be accepted (subject to Managers discretion).

For "Ex-demo” and "Graded” stock
A discretionary in house warranty will apply; Terms & Conditions are subject to the product.
Change of mind will not be accepted.

For headphones, earphones and sealed cables
You can return your product in its original unopened and sealed packaging within 14 days of purchase and we’ll give you the choice of an exchange or full refund.
Items returned opened will not be accepted.

Customised products:
Including: speaker cable & accessories will not be returnable under any circumstances.

Postage Refunds:
Any refund due will always be less any postage and packaging costs, either for sending or returning the items to us (if applicable).

International Returns

The Online & Mail Order Returns policy will apply to you; however the following conditions will apply to the sale.

Change of mind:
Change of mind will only apply if the product has not been opened and for opened and/or used products change of mind will not be accepted.

Returns:
It is always your responsibility to arrange returning the product to us; we recommend that you return the item via a tracked and insured courier service.

Postage:
All Postage charges are to be the responsibility of the customer including returning items that have been damaged in transit and or develop a fault within 28 days of purchase.

Management’s discretion
All of the above is subject to the management’s discretion and where we may agree to alter the above in favour of the customer it will be treated strictly as a ‘one off’ agreement.

Instore Returns

Pricing (Including Special Offers)

We always reserve the right to change prices of products without notice.
In the extremely unlikely event that we have made a pricing mistake, it will only be at the Management's discretion to supply you with the order, prices stated on the website include V.A.T. but may not include the cost of delivery to you, this will be quoted for separately during the order process, failing this please contact us.

Any offer may be limited in supply and we reserve the right to withdraw the sale / amend the special price at any given time and without notice. We will not be held responsible if a sale / special offer price or any products are not available for supply after an order has been placed with us, although we would like to stress how unusual this would be and where possible seek an alternative arrangement with the customer.

Use of this website and or other sales Platform

We allow you the right to our website; this right that we allow is non-exclusive, revocable, and subject to the restrictions in all terms, we and our licensors own all content & rights in the website and no one shall acquire any rights whilst using our website or any of our other selling platforms.
No one is authorised to copy, reproduce, modify, download or use in any form the contents of the website without first obtaining our written permission from one of our Directors.

Our liability to you

We will only be liable for any losses directly / indirectly where these losses were reasonably foreseeable by both you and us at the time of sale of the products.

We will not be liable for losses if you did not enter into the sale with us as a consumer, we will not be liable for your business losses and we will not be liable for failure to comply with our obligations under the above terms if the failure is caused by anything outside of our reasonable and or unforeseen control.

Our maximum liability will be to the value of the relevant product(s) ordered and paid for in full.

General (Summary)

Third Parties who are not a party to these terms will not have any rights under them.
These terms are governed by British law and the British courts.
The above does not affect your statutory rights.

Website and Internet services

AV Bristol Ltd will never knowingly pass on any viruses to any of your equipment. In the extremely unlikely event that you are to receive any type of virus from our web site or other internet source such as documentation downloads we cannot be held responsible in anyway and will not compensate for any damage caused.

Data Protection

All information given to us, either by joining our News Letter Programme, making a purchase and or by other means will remain Private and Confidential between AV Bristol Limited and the customer. AV Bristol Ltd will only use this information to improve Customer Service and will never knowingly pass on any of your information to a third party.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis. Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health. To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin. We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items when purchasing a new item from us.
